Jennifer Jahnel, is president of Jahnel Group, Inc. She is a Certified Home Stager and Redesigner. It’s no wonder she is where she is today!
As a young child, Jennifer, would constantly “re-design” and decorate her bedroom. She would shift furniture back and forth and position things differently in the space. When most kids were asking for video games or toys for Christmas, she would ask for new bedding and accessories for her room.
She started her first collection of “old things” at 14. When her parents would take her to flea markets and auctions, she would purchase antique postcards with her allowance. This was her first collection. At present, she collects McCoy pottery, postcards, Sid Dickens memory blocks, pheasant & peacock statues, ruby glassware, items bearing a crown, vintage Christmas ornaments, antique sandpails, and all things “sparkly”.
It’s been a natural transition. Her work in the fashion industry in New York City, only fueled her excitement for design and trends. In addition, her shopping through the Chelsea flea markets in Manhattan would soon give rise to a true affinity for antiques and collectibles.
When several friends and family members asked for assistance with their design dilemmas, she would oblige happily! Again, this would only pique her interest in someday starting a design company of her own.
Eventually, the construction project on the home she shares with her husband and two young sons in 2009 sealed the deal! Jennifer became a certified Home Stager and Jahnel Group was born!
She is enjoying every bit of this new venture. In early 2010, Jennifer was asked to become a member of the National Association of Professional Women. It has been an honor.
